Number of windows less than 8ft wide or 4m2
A Single Inertia Sensor can cover the entire Window, with multiple openings for example, with an area up to 4m2, from external forced entry once the window is closed by detecting vibrations and impulses to the frame or the glass during intrusion. Only one opening is protected with a contact as standard. The purpose of the contact is only to indicate the window is still open at the time of setting the alarm. See below if you would like the option of additional contacts to cover other openings.
Number of Windows greater than 8ft wide or 4m2
This window will require an additional sensor due to the size of the window. Two Inertia Sensors are now allowed for in our quotation. The two openings are protected with a contact as standard. The purpose of the contact(s) is only to indicate the window(s) are still open at the time of setting the alarm. See below if further additional contacts required.
Number of Bay Windows
Typically Bay windows are quite large in size and have multiple changes in the angle of the frame and typically have multiple openings. Two Inertia Sensors are allowed for in our quotation for each Bay Window listed.
Number of Velux Windows
A Single Magnetic Contact is used to protect a Velux window in order to limit false activations from precipitation (i.e. heavy rain, hail) or animal interaction (i.e. Bird strike). The purpose of the contact is only to indicate the window is still open at the time of setting the alarm.
Additional Contacts on Windows (Optional Extra)
Windows are protected from external forced entry with a single Inertia Sensor for up to 4m2. Inertia sensors can come with a magnetic contact in a single unit that will further protect a single opening in that frame so that the window can’t be left open before setting the alarm (Shown here on the upper RHS of the above image). If there is a second opening (Shown here on the LHS of the image above) and you wish to have it protected with an additional contact, add the number of additional openings you require.
Extra Wireless PIR (Motion Detection) (€80)
Additional to the PIR supplied as standard which is typically located in the downstairs hallway. If you require central monitoring through an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) you will require a secondary detection device internally. This is to comply with Garda Policy. However you can add as many extra PIRs as you wish. Other typical locations include Attics, Sun Rooms, Shed,
Additional Wireless Keypad (€82)
Additional keypads can be added to provide convenience for setting and unsetting the alarm from other locations aside from the front door i.e. Bedroom or Garage
Panic Alarm Button (€93)
A panic alarm button can be strategically placed to shorten the distance to initiate a panic alarm signal through to a monitoring station or to set off the alarm even if system is unset to raise awareness. Suggested locations include the Back Door and Master Bedroom. Device is active at all
HKC Wireless Key FOB (€65)
A very useful device for the end user to control their alarm system. Remote arm and disarm your system along with a remote panic button. However you must be within range of the house.
Interlinked Smoke Detector (€136)

Interlinked Carbon Detector (€139)

External Floodlight with PIR (€150 estimate)
Add an LED floodlight with motion detection to add further security to your intruder alarm system. Can also provide the benefit of general automated lighting
Dummy Bellbox (€50)
TooltipIntalled as a visual deterrent to show the premises has an installed intruder alarm system by a reputable installer. All Lara Decoy Bellboxs are branded and look the same as the primary bellbox. Should be considered if home premises is very large.
Add Monitoring Options
Self-Monitoring (GSM-WIFI) (€190)
With the installation of the HKC GSM-WIFI you will be able to have full remote access to your alarm system (arm/disarm and other features) including; Push Notifications and/or Text by SMS Additional Costs €4.99 a month for line rental €7.99 for phone app
Remote Monitoring via Alarm Receiving Centre. Connection via GSM-WIFI (€190)
Your Alarm can be self-monitored and/or Monitored through an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Your alarm is remotely monitored by a central station that will notify you, a nominated keyholders or emergency services as required i.e. Garda, Fire Brigade, or Security Services Additional Costs €184.50 annually
Note: Monitoring through an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) is done through a third party. The cost to set up with G4S would be €196.80 annually. However you can set up a connection with any ARC of your choosing.
